To join our dance company, ideally you must have had some dance experience. However, we also look for outgoing passionate and dynamic students who are willing to learn. Come along, improve your dance ability and have fun!
This dance company is made up of a group of students who enjoy dancing, performing and above all having fun in a class environment. Our choreographer will refine and develop your technique, introducing different styles of dance to create innovative routines for showcases, variety shows, competitions as well as flash mobs. You will learn challenging, demanding but inspiring choreography.
These dance classes are fun, upbeat, with an increased level of performance and to music of both nostalgic and present day. You will learn next level movements like kicks, turns, partner work, review basic footwork: such as corner to corner and recap of basic patterns of working with a partner such as a duet, trio or group.
If you have a love of performing or just increasing your dance knowledge and technique in a great team class environment, then this dance class is for you. Dance is also a complete workout as it helps develop all muscle groups, toning and helps lose a few pounds whilst having fun in class.

Teacher: Mark Short
Mark is a professional dancer and choreographer who has been working in the industry of TV and theatre all of his adult life. His choreographic credits include Tina Turner, Ant N’Dec, Peter Andre and the Gladiators to name but a few. He has choreographed UK pop tours for corporate clients such as Panasonic, SmithCline Beecham and Coca Cola. As a performer Mark was a regular on Top of the Pops, Olympic Opening Ceremony, Royal Variety Performances and 150 Years of John Lewis Celebration with Paloma Faith. His unique and fun way of teaching has made Mark a popular teacher and choreographer and will always bring out the best in his students whether they are beginners or more advanced dancers.
Course Fees, Dates & Location:
FRIDAYS @ 6.45pm – 8.15pm
15th September – 15th December 2017 (14 weeks)
5th January – 23rd March 2018 (12 weeks)
A £21 non-refundable deposit can be paid by the 17th December to secure your place on this course and to get a 20% Discount. The balance of fees will be due by 5th January unless an instalment policy is requested. Once you pay the deposit you will be sent a reminder for when fees are due and this will include your 20% discount.
Students that continue our Dance Company classes in January 2018, will have the opportunity to take part in their very own showcase on the 24th March 2018.
