Stage & the City’s Acting for Intermediates classes are for those who have moved on from our Acting for Beginners course (or have done a similar course elsewhere) and are looking for something more challenging and a chance to showcase their work. Our acting classes are ideal if you want to improve your acting skills, confidence and presentation skills.

Course Content:

  • Improvisation, voice work and actioning a text
  • Characterisation – students will choose and work on specific characters
  • In-depth characterisation work focusing on physicality and voice
  • Rehearsal of scenes, working towards a Spring showcase for family and friends on 2nd April 2020. A mixture of comedic and dramatic short scenes from modern and classic plays as well as devised scenes. (Students that start in September will need to commit until March to ensure a successful showcase).
