Have you always wanted to impress your friends on the dance floor but think you have three left feet? Or does hitting the gym four times a week to try and stay in shape fill you with dread?

If so, Stage & the City has the answer with this short 6 week online course.

You will learn simple yet fun and dynamic dance moves incorporating a range of styles including Street, Commercial and Jazz.

After the 6 weeks you will have learnt two different dance routines each with different styles and to great upbeat music. The routines will be broken down into clear simple steps making them easy to follow and super fun to learn.

What you learn on this course will give you a great foundation for any dance style you may choose to continue exploring.

Our friendly teacher, Jen Welch, is dedicated to helping you learn and guide you through the steps in a nurturing and encouraging way so that you won’t feel like you are just following a dance teacher on a screen. Every effort will be made to provide you with a more personal and comfortable experience, (hence the restriction on numbers). As well as learning some fab new dance skills you will be supported every step of the way to make sure you get the most out of your experience with us.

Course Content and Outcomes

  • Weekly warm up, stretch & cool down
  • Develop body awareness, weight placement, timing, musicality and coordination
