Our resident Dance Company often works towards showcases, flash mobs and competitions. Our Summer course will be our new term for exploring new dance styles, routines and creating exciting and new works.
The classes will consist of warm-ups, technique and dance amalgamations such as turns, kicks, leaps and floor work. You will also learn routines of different styles such as street, lyrical contemporary and commercial jazz. This term will also allow you to think about whether you want to join us for performances and showcases in the near future.
As well as our company choreographer, students will also have the chance to experience master classes with guest choreographers from the industry who will share their professional knowledge with you.
Students joining this Company must have had some previous dance experience. You don’t have to be on a professional level but a level of ability is essential. If after the first taster class it is decided this class is too hard you will be able to get a full refund.
Acceptance into the dance company is by workshop audition only. The next workshop audition will be taking place on Friday 3rd May.
