Learn some sexy and sassy moves with our Commerical Diva Dance classes. Our Diva Dance classes allow men and women to bring out their innermost diva and dance with attitude with a capital ‘A’. The core of our Diva Dance class is based around loving or learning to love your body with confidence whilst having fun in a class environment. You will learn to strut, pose, walk like you’re on a catwalk and create your own sex appeal using diva dance choreography. You will dance to sultry, funky and chart-topping sounds of the queens of diva like Beyonce, Britney, and the Pussycat Dolls.
The commercial side of Diva allows you to learn technique used in all other dance styles such as kicks, turns, isolations and corner to corner strutting.
In our next course starting in September, you will learn all of the above and also be part of a group dance routine for optional performances, as well as dance competitions.
This is a class for all levels and we encourage you to “bring it” a little “Attitude”. Don’t think you have the confidence to do that? Don’t worry, by the end of the course, you will be strutting your stuff and eager to push Britney off the stage so that you can take her place!
Once you have mastered the diva technique, you may progress onto joining the Stage & the City Dance Company.
The next course starts in September and for those that return in January, there will be the opportunity to take part in Stage & the City’s Charity Showcase Extravaganza. (although this is an amazing opportunity it is not compulsory).
