Do you want to feel sexy like Shakira? Risqué like Rhianna? Or glamorous like Gaga? Our Diva Dance course provides a fun and friendly environment to let loose and strut your stuff – whether you’re 18 or 80, everyone has an inner Diva!
While learning some sexy and sassy moves, this class allows men and women to bring out their innermost diva and dance with attitude with a capital ‘A’. The core of our Diva Dance class is based around loving or learning to love your body with confidence whilst having fun in a class environment. You will learn to strut, pose, walk like you’re on a catwalk and create your own sex appeal using diva dance choreography. You will dance to sultry, funky and chart-topping sounds of the queens of diva like Beyonce, Britney, and the Pussycat Dolls.
The commercial side of Diva allows you to learn techniques used in all other dance styles such as kicks, turns, isolations and corner to corner strutting.
This is a class for all levels and we encourage you to “bring it” a little “Attitude”. Don’t think you have the confidence to do that? Don’t worry, by the end of the course, you will be strutting your stuff and eager to push Britney off the stage so that you can take her place!
Once you have mastered the diva technique, you may progress onto joining the Stage & the City Dance Company.
Our Diva Dancers will have the opportunity to perform in Stage & the City’s Charity Showcase Extravaganza taking place on Saturday 30th March at the Stratford Arts Theatre, (although this is an amazing opportunity it is not compulsory).
