BOOK NOW

Do you want to feel sexy like Shakira? Risqué like Rhianna? Or glamorous like Gaga? Our Diva Dance Company provides a fun and friendly environment to let loose and strut your stuff – whether you’re 18 or 80, everyone has an inner Diva!

Develop your dance skills, learn some sassy moves, and bring out your inner diva. You will learn to strut, pose, walk like you’re on a catwalk and create your own sex appeal using diva dance choreography. The commercial side of Diva allows you to learn techniques used in all other dance styles such as kicks, turns, isolations and corner to corner strutting.

The Diva Dance Company is for those who have completed an Absolute Beginners Dance course at Stage & the City or the equivalent elsewhere.  To join the company you must attend a workshop-based audition on the 30th of April.

Exciting Introductions for Summer:

Mini Pop Video: We will re-create our own in-house ‘mini pop video’ so that you have fun lip-syncing to a song whilst dancing and performing for the camera. This, of course, is for our own viewing and NOT on public social media.

Guest teachers: You will get the chance to work with some industry professionals who will occasionally pop in to share their knowledge of dance with you and teach you moves from artists/videos they have performed in and with.

End of term in-house showing: A great opportunity to invite friends and family to see how you have been getting on and how much of a Diva you’ve turned into whilst dancing with us at stage & the City.
