Stage & the City Musical Theatre Company

Musical Theatre Company

Musical Theatre Company London

Workshop Auditions are still taking place for this company. If you are interested please e-mail

Stage & the City has recently formed a Musical Theatre Company for performers who wish to explore musical theatre through a variety of genres from cabaret through to contemporary pop musicals. We aim to put together a sophisticated company that can perform as a strong team. Anyone interested in joining will be required to participate in a workshop audition.

All numbers will be staged and choreographed by Harveen Mann, and will also allow students to have a strong input when it comes to material. Everyone will have the opportunity to perform solos and duets, culminating in a full-blown production in an off-west end venue to a paying audience!

Every rehearsal will begin with a West End style vocal and physical warm up. You will also learn a brief history of Musical Theatre through the years as we go through the course. During the term, you will also have the chance to get some 1:1 time to work on the technical aspects of the numbers.

The first show that this company puts on will be in December at the Courtyard Theatre.

Course Requirements

To join our Musical Theatre Company you need to have completed our Musical Theatre Beginners / Improvers course or completed a similar course elsewhere.  However, even if you do have previous musical theatre experience you will still be required to attend a workshop audition. If you do not have the experience required, we recommend having a look at our Musical Theatre for Beginners or Musical Theatre for Intermediates classes.
